Created under the supervision of manga artist Naoshi Arakawa, this figures expresses an alternate reality unseen in the original work.
Her modest dress and bouquet of cherry blossoms herald spring.

Kaori's gesture of gently placing her hand in front of her lips symbolizes the telling of a lie, and important theme in the series. The figure brings to life a depiction of "what if", an alternate reality, and a gentle "lie". The close overlap between the two elements highlights the significance of the crucial theme.
Kaori is sculpted holding a bouquet of cherry blossoms, an important motif in the series. Cherry blossoms, which are known for their short blooms and impermanence, have been immortalized with Kaori as a figure. The bouquet also represents a miraculous and eternal alternate reality.
